New features
Educational Server
The Educational Server (called ES) is a new program provided with the WebSim-News simulator. ES gives more possibilities to the trainer to manage the trainees (users).
Using a browser-based interface, ES centralizes Users information. It reduces the time spent by the trainer on administration.

3 screens configuration)
Simulator can be used with 3 screens configuration. For this configuration, a specific video adapter is required (QID video adapter from Matrox).
Tabloïd format available
It is possible to input tabloid pages, and set the job production to have tabloid, broadsheet, or mixed production.

Detailled Imposition map available with Newspaper Editor
Imposition map pictures are automatically generated after Newspaper creation. This feature has been added to help trainer during malfunction creation (when he has to choose location and color of a malfunction). 2 types of pictures are created :
Generated in BMP format, theses files can be used easily by the trainer in additional documentation for trainees.
New features in simulator

New printing faults displayed on Copydesk
Cutting register problem is displayed both in copydesk view and in folder view. This is more realistic and help users to fix this problem.

A set of new icons has been designed to integrate WebSim News more fully with the Windows7 environment, the latest operating system from Microsoft.
